Very pleased with this item. It holds my dslr plus 70-300mm lens and x 2 converter perfectly still, and also quick and easy to adjust position.

Bought it for a platform for travel, rather then a tripod. Have not been on the trip yet. Checked the table top balance with Canon 7D and Canon 5D
with Tamron 16-300 28-300 respectively. On the table, it supports both with lens extended, level and aimed slightly up. Metal construction, heavier than I expected. The movable camera attachment allows for the balance with the heavy cameras. Plan to take it on sailing cruise for deck and table use. I can see uses for copy work when attached to tripod, and may provide easier maneuverability than current tripod head. Will try that at later date.

Love this small gadget! It is made from very solid material and so it is durable. As expected, it is slightly heavy due to the material used for it. I have used it to do a photo shoot and the ability to tilt it made taking pictures easy
